Acknowledgements

I am very grateful to Pfeiffer University for hiring me in 2009. I find it rewarding to work for an academic institution that believes in people and the act of serving others. Due to my work at Pfeiffer, I have had the opportunity to stretch my abilities, flex in the face of discomfort, tap into my creativity, and to grow beyond measure.

I would like to recognize my fellow MFT colleagues because if it were not for them, I would not have been successful; the encouragement and influence they provided me were essential to my work. In addition, I would like to thank the university for the continual support of the MFT Program and, especially, the Pfeiffer Institute. Without the university's belief in what I am doing, I would not have experienced the opportunity to serve in the capacity that I have for our students and our community.
