Service to University
Throughout my time at Pfeiffer University, I have been actively involved at various levels to build the university and its programs, to increase student enrollment, and to contribute strengthening the community within the university.Academic Program
When I was hired, one of my major responsibilities was to help write the 75 page self-study for the MFT Program to become accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE). In addition, I have integrated 97 Core Competencies into MMFT690 and created the criteria for evaluation per assignment.Our MFT Program has expanded to the Raleigh Campus and I am currently assisting the newly hired clinic director in establishing a clinic, setting up the MMFT690 course, and creating clinic policy and procedures.

MFT-GSA
I have had a supporting role in the MFT-GSA. I fully participate and attend GSA activities, such as community service projects, graduation banquets, and Town Hall Meetings.

WinShape Ride for the Family, October 2010
WinShape Ride for the Family selected Pfeiffer University as one of their stops during their 4-day motorcycle ride to increase awareness about making family a priority. 90 participants attended the luncheon and I presented information about the Pfeiffer Institute and the MFT Program. The WinShape Foundation and Chick-fil-a, Inc., donated $2000 to our Marriage and Family Therapy Program to continue our work in strengthening relationships.
Graduate School
On August 19, 2011, I helped the Center for Adult Studies and the Adult Learning Program with their orientation. I introduced the incoming Pfeiffer students to the services they could utilize at the Pfeiffer Institute.
In addition, my image has been used on the promotional materials of the Graduate School and on the Pfeiffer Institute for Marriage and Family Therapy brochures. I have been seen on billboards on the drive to Raleigh helping to promote Pfeiffer University and student enrollment in the Research Triangle area.
