Service to the Larger Profession

I am a member of several professional organizations. In addition to my memberships, I have taken on volunteer roles on professional boards as well as seeking ongoing opportunities to serve. Being involved at this level not only enhances my scope of practice, but also represents the university servant leadership mission.

NCAMFT Board of Directors

I have been elected for the position of the PR Committee Chairperson. 

Chrysalis House

Currently, I am being considered for a volunteer position on the Board of Directors for the Chrysalis House, Inc., an adoption and foster care agency. The Board Members will make a final decision on November 3, 2012. 

AAMFT Elections Council

Currently, I am being considered for a volunteer position on the AAMFT Elections Council.  If elected, the term begins January 1, 2014.
